Project Involvement

Ed currently oversees invasive species projects and is heavily involved in monitoring American alligators and American crocodiles as indicators of Everglades restoration. He previously led a collaborative program to remove and necropsy Spectacled Caiman, American crocodile surveys on Naval Air Station Key West, Burmese python surveys with Irula tribal snake hunters, surveys for Northern African pythons in Miami-Dade County, and managed a small group of volunteer expert python hunters.
