Project Involvement

Mayckol Martinez is currently involved in the trapping and removal of invasive Argentine black and white tegus. He is also involved in a camera surveillance and a long-term Everglades Invasive Reptile and Amphibian Monitoring Program (EIRAMP) projects regarding the biosurveillance of invasive species throughout Florida. Mayckol assists with tracking Burmese pythons in Everglades and Francis S. Taylor WMA via radio-telemetry and in invasive species removals throughout South Florida. He is also involved in various crocodilian conservation projects.
